It still does it for me

I like CFS3 as I have liked all the CFS series. The other night I watched a History channel program about Hitlers Secret Horton Jet fighter. Afterwards I just fired up my CFS3 (with Firepower Add on) and flew the thing. Fantastic plane and a very fine program on History channel too!

I often get inspired to fly a particular type by something I have watched or read.

I think I must spend about 50% of my CFS3 ETO flying time on non combat sorties!!

I know some will say why not use FSX for that but I love flying in a wartime 1940's enviroment with accurate aircraft, airfields and conditions.

Man is that Jet something! I'm glad Microsoft put it into their Game. She is the best German fighter without a doubt!

The Go229 can take on any Allied fighter and can deliver some serious ordnance, especially the 500lb cluster bombs! You just have to gauge your altitude carefully before you release them or you'll wind up on the ground with Tommie.

Great acceleration, especially at atlitude . Makes this fighter tough to beat. Good thing the Allied forces got it before Mass production began or else We'd all be speaking German right about now!

Food for thought: What if it had been produced in early 1941 thereabout? With all the kinks ironed out before D-day? Can anyone say: World Domination?

Hmmm. And a little voice at the back of my skull whispers sheer conjecture on MS's part :monkies:

Couldn't agree more WF. I fly about 90% of the time in free flight just swanning about southern England on training flights or ferrying a/c about. I could use FS9 which I have but it just doesn't convey a sense of the 1940's (even with the Golden Wings stuff). I still think that the CFS3/ETO setup is hard to beat in terms of overall immersion for that era, especially for RAF enthusiasts like me :).
