It was a big FSX weekend........

Just as the thrill of FSX and the whole simming experience was starting to wane greatly for me, this past weekend comes along and I get:

1) Ivan's new Mig-21MF

2) VS' F9F on sale for 50% off

3) CS' 707 base pack and E-3 add-on for $27

How's that for a trifecta?

Wow, flight simming is fun again and I've been rejuvenated.

Sounds like a pretty good haul, and the more important thing - it got you flying again!


I also made use of some of the great sales/new releases:

Carenado's T210M (I would say it's a must-buy for anyone looking to add to their GA fleet);
WSSimulation's Seminole (a little disappointing all around, but glad I made use of the FSPilotShop's 50% discount to get it - wouldn't have bought it otherwise);
Vertigo's F9F Panther (also discounted at FSPilotShop); and
Eaglesoft's Beechjet 400A (not on sale or a new release, but one I've had my eye on for a while).

It's rare to see so many sites run major sales like that - hopefully not the last time it happens!

It definitely was a good weekend. I picked up the Just Flight Mossie from PC Aviator for $10 then MA from MegasceneryEarth for $17 and today the CS 707 and B-52.

Had a great flight last night in the CS 727 from Logan to JFK too.
