Italian Ordnance data help...

Hey All,
I need a little help. Does anyone know the actual weights of the Italian bombs and Torpedo's?

I need the 50 kg, 100 kg, 250 kg, and 500 kg Bombs. Plus the 800 kg "Whitehead" Torpedo. You can give it in Kilos or Pounds. I'm trying to finish the DPs and I want to have accurate data.

Do they tend to round the weights up or down? In other words, do they claim a 50 kg bomb but its weight is actually 48 kgs?

Let me know if you have anything.

Italian Ordnance

Blood Hawk, I have the US TM (1953 edition) on Italian and French ordnance on PDF, I'll load it up and get back to you as soon as I can.

Italian Ordnance data

OK BH Here's a quick overview:

50kg = 59.31kg 29.2kg of explosive filler

100kg = 100.2kg 50.6kg " "

250kg = 259.1kg 125.7kg " "

500kg = 508.1kg 216kg " "

800kg = 821.6kg 357kg " "

2 types torpedoes from Navweps website

F200/450X5.46 905kg 441 lbs filler

Si200/450X5.36 973kg 441 lbs filler

At present these are single sourced, I'm looking for second source to cross-check the data. It shoould be fairly close as EOD personnel used these on the job in the '50s. I suspect that's where a lot of the data came from, in the late '40s.

Hope this helps.
