But could somebody please tell me why I'm receiving e-mails announcing that my uploads have been added successfully, when I made those uploads some six or seven years ago? It is all rather odd, you have to admit...

Of course, my friend. Grizzly50 (Kasey) is uploading a plethora of stored items for CFS3 from his vault to finish re-stocking the CFS3 library. When he uploads them, I make every effort, if the CFS3 member is still active, to place the files under the original uploader's name. This means that you, NachtPiloten, Foo Fighter, and others have probably gotten bunches of these e-mails.

I don't think there is a way I can turn the notifications off, but rest assured there is nothing underhanded about them.

I for myself am very glad that Grizzly is doing these uploads,would be ashame to lose them unless the original creators decide to pitch in.

Some of those older entries do deserve deleting though...

Perhaps the originator(s) can add comments about the defects to their older uploads?? I certainly should note that all my old m issions would have to be heavily reworked due to ETO and other newer ac, effects, etc., although if one still has on board all the older stuff....
