This year was an absolutely amazing race.

It also had a few 1st in the race.

This was the fastest race ever.

It was the first time anyone used Antarctica and the South Pole as a passage from New Zealand to South America.

and it was the first time Tako_kichi ever listened to his wife Karen without questioning her logic. (I'm going to get it for that one. :icon_lol:)

The Race Committee once again put together an excellent event.

Thank You from the Team

and Congratulations to

Congrats!!!

What a nice feather in Team SOH's cap! Very impressive. Guess I need to listen to my missus more often.

Yeah, we often make a lot of sense ;)

Great result guys! awesome!

I look forward to joining in next year!

The more the merrier folks...look over at the RTW multiplayer forum as the guys put together other events during the year. :wavey:

What took me so long to see this?

CONGRATULATIONS!

Now that I'll soon be retired, I'd like to participate next year. I wonder if one of the victorious team members could write a little tutorial on the ins and outs of flyingm Team Speak commo and navigating in this race?

Again, CONGRATULATIONS!

Really nice to see this RTW still going - I remember the first one this site participated in, we didn't do so well. lol I'm pretty sure we finished 3rd.

Good to see a tradition of excellence continuing!

Not Too Late

I am retired. I wanted to participate. I want to fly online. But I can't even figure out how to open my ports. I have AT&T DSL but their gear doesn't have a 'set up' menu. You have to do everything manually and then it don't want to make any changes (without freezing up) so I just quit. (It's an ISP 'problem' I am sure-suckers!).

I know there must be 100's of simmers out there with these same problems. Anyway my DSL is only 768 Kbs (not 1.5 Mbs or 3 Mbps) so I would just bog everyone down anyway, and that's not 'nice'. I would have to move to another zip code to get faster DSL speeds, so I can't do that just to fly online. Oh well. I can dream. Congrats to SOH Team for the win. Way to go.
