iTunes; Too Many Incomplete Albums? Tip..

Lionheart

SOH-CM-2014
Hey all,

For those with iPod Touch, iPhone, and iPad.

Do you have TONS of incomplete Albums? Do you download the 'free music' songs on Tuesdays? Does it cause your iPhone/iPod-T/iPad to be filled with tons of Albums (art in the slider window) that only have one song attached?

Here is a quick get-around for it.

Create Playlists that start with 'Album' for all of your fave Albums. For instance; Album Avalon. In Playlists, all the Albums you want are more quickly accessible rather then going through a TON of mostly incomplete albums in the primary Album list.

For 'new' albums you have just purchased, create new Playlists that start with 'New'. For instance; 'New The Dream Seekers'. I dont know about you, but finding my new albums is pretty difficult. Usually I am in a hurry when I need to find the music, like in Walmart or walking around. This enables you to find your 'new' music and your Albums a bit more faster.

Remember, Playlists do not really add any 'room' on your device. Its only a data list of what songs to play that are on your device. The actual songs are still stored on their own Albums sections. The Playlists retrieves them when its running.

I had requested an iTunes modification where it would make a small marker on 'complete Albums' or a marker for Albums that are incomplete. For instance, a small green dot somewhere on the window of the selector that states the Album you are looking at is incomplete or complete. (I email Apple frequently with idea's. If you have one and you want it implemented, you might offer it to them).

Another thing I like is Euro music in foreign languages. I decided to try making some playlists that have some languages selected. One Playlist is French Pop. It has Lorie, and a few others. Another is just French and has more calm French vocalists Albums on it. I just drop the entire list of songs of those albums into the new Playlist and I'll use Shuffle mode to play them so they arent 'Album to Album'. (Mixed instead). So now I have German, Italian, French... (Hopefully soon some good Swedish music. I keep looking...)

Anyways, I thought I would share that with you music nuts that run iTunes as your device programmer.
