Did he do one for FS9? All I have found is for CFS-2 but no prop in FS9 when using Mick's repaints. Help!

Turns out he didn't do one for FS9 but the CFS2 version shows up pretty good in our sim. Might want to check out this thread:

You definitely want to try Jerry's 'FD' file for the flight dynamics. My panel mods will sharpen up the instruments on the panel. As for sound, either Lawdog's, OBIO's or wbird.zip from flightsim is highly recommended. Cazzie's propblur near the end of the thread will work but it is faint. My preferred ride is actually the Model 68 done up like a BF2C/F11C-3. With the open exhaust pipes and missing tailwheel fairing, it almost has a 'rat rod' panache to it.
Another neat thing about this plane: when I'm flying it from the VC I get normal frame rates but when I hit 'shift+2' to bring up the throttle quadrant the frame rates double and it just goes so smoothly. Not sure why it does this; for that matter Wim's new Fokker D.XVII does the same thing. Oh well....

All I have saved in my archives is a CFS-2 version, but it definitely has its prop in my FS9.

Odd that yours doesn't...

Don't get me wrong; my BF2C has a propdisc; it's just really, really faint. Maybe you got an earlier model?
On the other hand my Hawk III with the 3-bladed prop has a distinct propblur (and will likely get a BananaBob replacement in the near future)
Mick, I may've forgotten to say this but your paints for the BF2C were top notch. :ernae:
I also started on the XF11C-3 prototype. I stuck with the M68T model however due to the aforementioned preferences. Still looks pretty sharp.

Thanks to all for your ideas and help with emphasis to Caz for the propwash (I now see a prop!) and Mick for the very nice paints.
Thanks all!

Does the plane have reflective texturing? I have come across this on a couple models...were the prop disk is assigned reflective texturing...and when an alpha channel is applies the disc become "dark' but what is really happening is that the stronger (darker) the alpha channel gets the more reflective the disc becomes. I might have to download the planes and take a look at the MDL in a hex editor and find out.

Looks like Ivan used the stock style prop design when he did these models. The full prop blur that we are used to using will not work on these planes. Kelticheart has done a lot of prop work for CFS2...let me dig around in the library and see what I can unearth to improve the prop blur on these planes.

The two models that I have installed are the Model 68B and Model 68C. The B model uses the stock style prop texture....and kelticheart did not do a new one for the plane. THe 68C uses the more modern style full prop blur...but it is odd in that the model file (MDL) is of the older style and can not be read by Martin Wright;s MDLmaterial. It can be read with Martin's MDLcolor and shows a list of well over 400 individual parts....will take a while to go through that list and find the prop disk....I think it may be set as totally transparent and may need to have just a click or two of transparency removed.

Even in CFS2 the prop blur is odd. The prop does not transition from the 3 blade texture to the prop blur fully until you get into the second rpm range...very odd.
