Japanese bombers...

I tested the G4M Betty's available and I noticed they have wrong flying parameters. The G4M2 was supposed to fly at a maximum 236 knots and they were getting 350 MPH speeds. The engine characteristics were wrong. So I built two new airfiles that covers G4M1 and G4M2 versions. The G4M2 speed now is EXACTLY 236 knots. By the way: the old G4M2 model deserves a good refit like the G4M1 get from Allen. Allen, your G4M1 is a pearl!

To the model mafia :));))

The G4M2 model is not very acurate. I built, until now, airfiles and DP's for four versions:

a) G4M1 Type 11 early version (without bomb doors as used in the early months in 1942). I just alfa treated Allen G4M1 aircraft, it deserves a proper bomb door removal;

b) G4M1Type 11 final version (without any model intervention, it's perfect!);

c) G4M2 Type 22. It deserves three mods: the upper turret is garbage (I'm using a Lisunov Li-2 one).! It could be enhanced at the model (an alternative could be a new turret as load). The early model had three-blade propeller, as MS model, but was not pregnant. It needs a diet! Later models had four-blade propeller and was pregnant (a change propellers would be fantastic).

d) G4M2 Type 24. I alfa treated the bomb doors. The Ideal situation would include a proper bomb door removal. It had a four-blade propeller. G4M2_type_24.png

It's interesting that Japanese engineers had problems to develop an effective bomb bay. In all Malayan and East Indies Campaigns they use their G4M1 without them.

I'm packing the planes. I'll use Metal Dreams Okhas because VB one is completely out scale. It's possible that I'll upload two more bombers at the same package.

I'm having stability problems with my joystick. Can anybody test the airfiles for me?
