Japanese plane fireballs

There was a thread a while ago about a Betty dp to make it a fireball. Well I decided to show the author of that thread that if you try you can do the same thing with other planes. It's just a few easy tweaks in the effects part of the dp file. It does take some time but the only way to learn is to try. Here's some pics of some other Japanese planes that are fireballs. These pics are of only some of the planes with these effects.

Talon I enjoy all your hard work towards improving cfs2. I wonder if you could post how or what you changed to get the fireball effect. :wavey:

Olaf,

I'm still working on things and it's tough to explain.I have 7 or 8 planes that work pretty well so far. I had to put fuel tanks in one to get it to work the way I wanted. It's not just a fireball I wanted but also some smoke effects.

One of the planes I used to get me started was the FDG Ki45 Toryu, it had some good effects to start with and than I just added a few things. When you go into the dp and look at the effects everything is there for you to get started.

But there really doesn't seem to be much interest.

Just Not A Big Response...

Pretty sure I've put these up before... it's my "standard" fuel tank DP entry:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
[EFFECTS.X]
; System = Center Fuel Tank
effect.0=10,LIBRARY,fx_fuelleak_s,
effect.1=60,LIBRARY,fx_gastank_m,
effect.2=95,LIBRARY,fx_airexpl_l,
effect.3=100,BOMB,,
effect.4=10,LIBRARY,fx_fuelleak_m,
effect.5=60,LIBRARY,fx_gastank_l,
effect.6=95,LIBRARY,fx_airexpl_m,
effect.7=99,BOMB,,
effect.8=100,LIBRARY,fx_volcano,
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Which can be pasted into any fuel location with DPEdit and a text editor.

Talk about smoke and fire.... :salute:
