Description: JBK Fokker FVIIb-3m Lynx-engined for CFS2 by UncleTgt

This is a conversion of the FS2004 Fokker FVIIb-3m by Jens B. Kristensen.

The pack includes new air & dp files, plus WIN 7 safe panels. It is uploaded as a complete aircraft for ease of installation.

New model conversion with dull & glossy material options. Changes in colour & shine for glass material.
Luggage cargo door animation activated & assigned to use Extend/Retract Concorde Visor (Z/shift Z).

2D panel options for imperial or metric units. New fixed views added.

The airfile is completely revised, as is the dp file. Separate civilian & militarised aircraft are provided. The dp uses Kelti exhaust effects, Alain Bretons French bombs, Groundcrew bombracks & my own reargunner & Lewis waist guns for the militarised version. The civilian version uses small cargo boxes plus some new fuselage side bomb racks for the improvised civilian bomber conversions used in the SCW.

The textures included are:

Early model, 2 bladed props
==============================
"2" Polish AF, 1939 - the only photos I could find indicate the Polish licence-built aircraft had 2 blade props. They had 9 cylinder Wright engines, but as the Pan-Am version done by Jens has so different-looking exhausts & wire spoked wheels, I decided to provide a Lynx engined option too. See the separate Wright-engined download for the 9 cylinder aircraft.

Mid model, 3 blade ctr prop, 2 bladed outer props
==================================================
"20-1" SCW Republican AF, 1936
"1903" Croat AF, 1942
J-BBZO Japan Air Lines, 1932
"3" USMC, Nicaragua, 1929 - like the Polish skin, this too was a 9 cylinder engined model. The Pan-Am FVII model has plain wood prop blades, so the only way to show the USMC tricolour prop tips was to match it with a Lynx engined model instead. I also found some photos that suggest these a/c may have had 3 bladed ctr prop as well, simply not an option using the PanAm FVII model.

Late model, 3 bladed props
============================
"45-2" El Veterano SCW Nationalist AF, 1936
EC-PPA SCW L.A.T.E/ Republican AF, 1936

To install, unzip the download to a temporary location & move/ copy files to the matching folder names inside your chosen CFS 2 install.

Allen for the inspiration for the fixed window views
Allen for his DOSmdlc_2, making shine & mdl size changes possible in WIN7+
Martin Wright for so many useful tools, in this case in particular MDLmat allowing aircraft model material transparency & colour changes

CASEVAC Belgian AF, Belgian Congo, 1941

Late model, fully enclosed cabin
============================
"802" Dutch AF, May 1940 - Actually the slightly smaller FVIIa-3m, but this skin was a way to complete the range & provided a WW2 period paint for Jen's enclosed model FVIIb-3m.

Due to model limitations (wire-spoked wheels, 2 blade wooden props, overwing exhausts) it's not possible to provide accurate representations other than the original PanAm paint. However, to complete the range I've provided Polish bomber & USMC transport skins. These 2 paints have also been reproduced in the Lynx-engined FVIIb-3m pack for those that prefer the wider range of model options possible & don't mind using the 7 cyclinder model representation instead of the 9 cylinder engine modelled here.

Help

In all three variants there are several model and texture folders but in each aircraft.cfg there is only one aircraft listed. The cfg in the Lynx variant has Fokker_FVII_3m_wright- civil listed for the sim=. I fixed that but what textures go with which models, etc?

Same aircraft.cfg in the Titan folder also

Each texture folder contains the correct aircraft.cfg for that particular skin. Just copy + paste back.
