Jet aircraft and 1 cropduster

Just returned from a road trip (Oregon area) with buddy. This year as we traveled about I told him if we near any airports in the back country I wanted to do a drive by and check them out to see if any interesting planes. One airport surprised us...in Ontario Oregon (ONO) I saw some Fighter Jets from the roadway and told my buddy to turn in. Their was no gate or anyone for that matter a fact standing between us and the aircraft. So we drove right up to them and of course got out and enjoyed. A few of them have turned into Jet birdnest for there were lots of bird sounds coming from within the aircraft. It was very cool to be able to walk around and just ponder. I don't know the names of the aircraft except for the skylancer and why they are there yet. Still doing research on internet to figure that out but if you know some of the names...please jump in so I can label my pictues. Cool cropduster there as well.

Tried again with same error message...hmmmm...Will try again first light. My eyes are tired and want to shut now.

While you were gone the server died. See the sticky at the top of the main forum page. I don't know why or how, but we still don't have our JPEG capability back. Most of these guys have been linking to photobucket.

You've got me really intrigued, I can't wait to see your photos.

Love roadtrips exspecially when you get surprises such as this. Now to figure out mystery of why they are there.

From top,

A-7 Corsair, might be a D model

F-4 Phantom, not sure of exact model

MiG-21 Fishbed

F4D Skyray

F-111

F-86 Sabre

Not sure about the cropduster!

Nicely done SkippyBing:jump:, now I can add labels to my pictures.
A-7 is the "D" model

Found out the collection of aircraft belong to Merle Maine. Unsure if they are being restored or what.

I think the Nasa plane is a F-5D skylancer (number 4 jet)
and the F-111 is the F-111 Aardvark

Thank you very much for sharing these cool pics. I love hearing about others' exploration almost as much as I like doing it myself.

Yeah your right, I hadn't actually heard of the F5D before but then they only made four of them!
The F-111 didn't get officially called the Aardvark until the day the USAF retired it which is fairly unique.
