Jets in cfs 2?

I thought there was a f-16 and f-18. I think there is an f-15 as well. Check SimV. Saddly the speed is limited and there are a few other issues. If you can't find one of them then most of the FS2004 could be converted. With permission of course.

No Dice is working to get Vietnam up and running. There are a few jets for it.

I think most have stopped doing jets for CFS2 because the sim just doesnt support the greater speeds. Working with the jets gets buggy. If you search other posts on the subject you'll see what I mean.

I wouldn't give up hope on having them, just know that there are issues and limitations. If there is a FS2004 model that you like let us know. there are a few people here that might help with the conversion.
 
ff14d.zip of simviation, have a F-14 breaking part model, It is cool if you like experiment with missile sam, or moderns ships.

You may want to search for Dean Reimer's FA-18 at Flightsim or Simviation. He made several examples for FS2000 and FS2002 that convert nicely to CFS2. You may need to tweak the air file and find a suitable 2d panel. I believe someone did a dp file a while back. Additionally, there are several skins available at AVSIM IIRC.

hi, typhoon. never saw that one. thks for the find. This one could be tweaked a bit. Could use some new skins if anyone is willing to take a stab at her.

I can get mach 2+ speeds with no problems in player craft that are supposed to perform at this level...its all in tweaking the air files to the right touch. Its the AI wingmen which don't keep up properly most of the time.
