Life Time CM
This is a fictitious fantasy paint for the Just Flight Constellation model C-69. This plane was used by the military for transport early on and when they were outdated and used up the military sold them off cheaply to anyone with cash. Most went on to airlines to carry passengers but some went to drug and gun smugglers.
This Connie went on to the darker side and to a small transport company located in Mexico called All Air Transport. All Air bought several worn and well used C-69's and put them to prompt use smuggling anything they could make a buck on. Most flights were to the states but some went as far as the Caribbean islands. They would land on out of the way small, sometimes dirt strips and usually at night to avoid being seen.
The company broke up in the late 80's after most of the personal were arrested and sent to prison. No one really knows what happened to the few Connies they had left that were still airworthy. Some say they went on to fight fires and do good but others claim they are still hauling smuggled goods somewhere very remote and far away.
So put on some Jimmy Hendrix, fire up four thirsty R-3350 radials and head out for some dark, secluded runway far from home.
This paint is done but need to have a few people check it out before I upload it anywhere. Email me at classicplane@yahoo.com for a copy. This plane goes very well with my worn and used Connie cockpit also available at the same email.
