Having the JF Spitfires for some time they were my fave go to BoB aircraft until the arrival of the SJ Mk II Spitfires who really are great performers, now the JF models have a tendency for their controls to stiffen up in a dive over 300mph the SJ models have no such problem,is there a way to overcome thid tendancy in the JF aircraft.

JF are the Just Flight aircraft.

The ailerons stiffening over 300 is correct and a well known problem for the early Spitfires. The fabric covered ailerons tended to deform at high speeds and would reduce roll rate to nothing and could even reverse their effect as a result. Metal covered ailerons were introduced in 1941 and largely eliminated the problem. Some of the Spitfires in the SJ package have fabric skinned ailerons and others have metal skinned ones. Visually they look slightly different and both have their own flight model to properly depict the change in roll rate at high speed between the two types of aileron.
