JHS_SWC Scenery

Just wondering if anyone had any trouble installing this scenery. After I install the scenery through the Scenery Library, CFS2 builds the database, but it stops and the program shuts down. And I can't start CFS2 until I remove the file from the computer. Any suggestions?

A few .sca files for Andujar were left in the scenery folder. Try deleting them and see what happens.

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately, it doesn't help. Same issues. I just installed the JHS_Poland scenery and had a similar issue. I thought there may be a file that was corrupted so I went through each and tried to load the scenery one base at a time. It worked but only allows two airfields to be installed in the folder at any one time. I tried this with the JHS_SWC but it didn't work at all. Strange.

Another possibility is there may be too many *_AFD.bgl files active. I think 200 or so is the maximum that will show up in the Free Flight menu.

Try deactivating other scenery layers containing airfields when activating the Spanish layer.

I separate the *_AFD.bgl files from the other .bgl files and install them in separate scenery layers, e.g. Poland_AFD. I have all the layers containing the airfield *.bgl and *_A16N.bgl files active at the same time, but only the one layer containing the *_AFD.bgl files active for the country or area in which I'm operating at the time in Free Flight.

Yeah, what KD said...you have too many scenery bgl's in play. This is one of the principal reasons for doing multiple installs (breaks up the scenery bgls by theaters) and even with that you still hit the limit quickly on each install with all that's available in public domain.

That was the problem. Thanks for the help. Everything is working now, just can't have too many .bgl files installed all at once. Thanks again for the help.
