Jiggy lines and blurries question

Hey folks

I recently had to reload FS9 due to a hard drive crash so I am having to reset things back to where it was before. I had a tweak that I found on one of the forums that really did a great job on jiggy lines and blurries but I cant remember what it said to do or who wrote it. All I can remember is that you changed anything with fs9 in the name to fs99 in the registry plus one or two other things. Has anyone else seen this or know where I can find it again>
Thanks in advance:wavey:

Thanks aeromed

looks like some useful tweaks there, not what I was looking but useful anyways

Cheers

Aeromed, after following what it said do It had fs9 the best I had ever seen it on my rig, can't seem to find it anywhere now.

Well if I read it right this fs99.exe subterfuge is for keeping multiple installs separate. Each initial time installed forcing a new fresh CFG to be created. I'll have to read it a few times slowly to see if I understood it correctly, but I always thought that improvements came from editing that fresh CFG beyond the defaults.
I dunno, my recent problems with blurry textures seem to get fixed with a re-install of the graphics drivers-from the disk that came with the card, not the "latest" ones from NVidia which I think caused the problem to start with.

I think the thread you are looking for is called "Smoothing out the jaggies ".

If you get the latest NVidia Drivers you may well not need the rather drastic solution I offered. On the new drivers there is an option to overide the application setting for antialiasing.
