Usio's IJN Kaga. Converted from a "Tosa" class Battleship hull, Kaga was completed as an Aircraft Carrier, launched Nov 1921, commissioned Nov 1929 and rebuilt 1933-35. Participated in the Chinese theatre, then the Pearl Harbour raid, invasion of Rabaul, launched airstrikes on Darwin, the invasion of DEI then to Japan for repairs after hitting a reef. Participated in the Midway battle and was scuttled on 4 June 1942, after severe damage from aerial attack.
