Jonny Quest, WW 1 ace? ....

More like Race Bannon, WWI ace. I used to watch Jonny Quest every Saturday morning and that was my all time favorite. Thanks WF2!

aaaaaaaaahhh the memories

I saw this one on you tube last week, and it was my and my older brothers favorite. I remember when they would show this episode, in our minds all was right with the world for the rest of the day,LOL.

A classic episode of one of my all time favorite shows. You can still catch it late night on the Boomerang network once in a while.
 
And surprisingly well-done SPAD and D-VII. Considering what passed on cartoons (and movies, for that matter) before CGI they were almost perfect.

Yeah, me too!! Saturday morning cartoons rocked! I remember watching this episode. For a cartoon, it was well drawn and had a very good story line as well.

Dang, I must have been 4 or 5 when this came out, and it was so cool, and we didn't even have a color tv. First time I saw it was on an old RCA B&W tv. Too bad cartoons don't have the same kinda edge of your seat suspense and action anymore. What they lacked in eye candy was usually made up for in story and other elements. Yep and they were hand drawn too. Talented artists back then. It was like an animated comic book. Even Dad took a break from workin' on the models. Probably just to humor me, but it was good memories!
 
That brings back memories - I'd forgotten all about that one!

We only had a black & white telly at the time as well,
