• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

My problems with my computer have been pretty well documented (mostly on the FS9 forum) and so what started out as a minor gliche months and months ago has eventually seen my entire system replaced one component at a time, lol (2HDD's, a Motherboard, CPU, Video Card and monitor). As it stands now, the only part that's original is the case, lol. During all this however, I passed a milestone without even knowing it. I went from a 32bit system to a 64bit system. I never noticed, or maybe knew enough to look at the specs, but the new Gigabyte motherboard is a 64bit. Soooooo, I replaced the two sets of unmatched 1gig memory sticks (1 set running at 533 the other at 600) with 2-2gig sticks and I'll be purchasing two more to make it 8gig total in the next week or two and I'm looking at a faster CPU and cooling system as well.

Ignorance is bliss they say, but discovery is awesome, lol.:jump:
