Joystick Question-Yet Again!

Sorry fellow fliers, but this is important! My MS Sidewinder died today and although they are still available on E-Bay, it is time to move on.
I need a JS that has FFB and preferably one that can offer rudder pedals as well. I only fly prop's WWI and WWII so need of jet settings. Cost is no object. I need the best and I want to feel as much as I can from the FFB.
I know that this topic has been mentioned before, please excuse, but I have "heard a definitive answer." TIA
BTW check the FS thread if you need a new 22" monitor. :redf: Shameless!

Being a FFB Fanatic Myself, the cupboard is pretty sparse as to choice. Closest thing in the way of pulse power is the Saitek EVO, the only negative mark is a less than perfect throttle placement. On the plus side that was the stick used to set the FM in Phase 3, so I forsee very little if any trim work required. As far as pedals go the Saiteks works with it, and can personally vouch for it working with the C+H

Saitek also makes a throttle quadrant, although I've never used it

And we might as round it out with the pedals

Seeker,

go get a brand new MSFF2 at GoGamers.com About a year ago they came across about 100 of them in a warehouse, never been opened. I bought one and love it, But if cost is no problem I will ask Steven190 what he is using. It is something that looks like a real 190 stick. He has it in the FW190 cockpit he built. Having a stick that is nearly three feet long makes a world of difference in control of the planes.

PS, I should be starting to put the computer together tomorrow.

Purely out of curiousity, I just checked GoGamer.com, to find out the price, MS Sidewinder II Out of Stock

I use the Saitek Cyborg Evo Force with the Saitek Quadrant and CH Pro Pedals and Trak IR ....just enough for planes with Props.

I hugely recommend getting the quadrant, the nuance of tuning both throttle, mixture and trim is way different when you have a long lever compared to the mini sliders on the joystick itself. Also gives you another six toggle buttons.
Here is an image of it, not updated for OFF but you should get the drift

Now the three foot long 190 stick has peaked my curiosity!

I use the Saitek Cyborg Evo Force , its great to feel the bumping of the wheels, the hammering of the MGs. It makes a difference.

I've seen it done, don't know if we're talking about the same job.

This was a homemade conversion of the MSFFB Sidewinder II

Basically it was just a much smaller movement of the stick, at the base where the gimball was, and this one was closer to 20", than 3 Feet
