Please , someone can help me how to use the JSGME to add the addons in cfs3 ? I have MODS folder inside the root cfs3 folder . create inside the mods folder a folder called AIRCRAFT , but when i put the new unzipped plane inside the aircraft folder and activate it from jsgme screen , the plane is ever outside the main aircraft folder .:dizzy::dizzy:

You must have the JSGME Mods folder placed outside the cfs3 directory, and then the file structure needs to point from there down to the final location one subdirectory at a time to where the included files should be specifically deposited. If you don't cfs3 will see both the old and new files when it starts and get confused.

For Example:

If the program is here C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Combat Flight Simulator 3

Then create C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Mods

Specific Mod folders would look something like this C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Mods\Name of Mod\Combat Flight Simulator 3\Aircraft\Name of Aircraft To Modify\Texture\replacement files go here

Resurrecting an old post here I know, but I need some clarity!

If my directories are thus:

. . . Microsoft Games/CFS3 ETO Expansion
. . . Microsoft Games/CFS3 PTO Rising Sun
. . . Microsoft Games/MODS

And the mods are for ETO:

Where does the JSGME.exe file go?
How do I let it know that I want it to manage the mods for ETO and not PTO? The JSGME.ini file?

So if I execute it there, how does it know that I want to apply a given mod to ETO and not the other games I have in the /Microsof Games directory, such as PTO-RS? Will it ask me? Sorry to seem so dumb, but I don't want to risk messing up a non-ETO install of CFS3!

Inside the mod folder you place folders with the names of each mod. It's helpful if those names include a reference to which version is meant to be used with. Then inside each mod folder you have a sub folder that is named the same way as each version. Inside those sub folders would be your actual mod files folders arranged the same way as your game.

For example
D:\My Old XP Files\Old Program Files\Microsoft Games\MODS\Weather Additional Types - WWI\WWI Copy of Combat Flight Simulator 3\weather

The name that shows up in the JSGME list is "Weather Additional Types - WWI" and it installs the files for a version I call "WWI Copy of Combat Flight Simulator 3" in the Weather folder.
