Yesterday i flew the "Dunkirk" missions in Era 1 historical and found the w40_ju88a-1_4dch spawns had a weird looking prop, not realistic at all so i replaced all w40_88`s with the 3gr Ju 88_4 and the result was much better.
Can these be modded to look more realistic?
Also noticed in the aircraft file w40 H-111`s had 2 prop disc.dds in the textures while the w40 88`s had nothing in the texture file.

Prop discs

Hi Scott,as i said they were in the textures folder in the W40 Heinkel 111 but others have none.

John.

Reworked Prop.dds

Ok iv`e fiddled and used a 3 gb spitfire prop.dds which i renamed 109e_prop.dds and you may like or not,the prop diameters may vary but i`ll research and try others if the specs are not suitable.

This doesn`t look too bad, and the prop is slightly larger Spitfire 10ft 9inn v the 109 at 9ft 10ins

Ive e mailed you the Prop.dds.

Also placed the ETO 109 sound [fltsim]alias=DR_Engine_Sounds\GR_Daimler_ Benz_DB605\sound\ file as there was no engine sound for the FS 109 aircraft.

Thanks John for the fix. Prop disk now shows up correctly. Looks fine to me. Much more immersive now flying the fs-Bf109E series. Thanks a million ! Regards,Scott

Oh well, there is a problem. I deleted the aircraft .bdp files and prop shows up fine. When i start the BoB install up again the fs-Bf109E's are missing the props again. I delete the bdp.'s and it works again.:banghead: Don't know what to do. Regards,Scott

My 109 have also lost their props

Hi Scott how did you bypass zapping the bdp files in the fs 109e folders?

John.

Did each one manually. Seemed to do the trick with this new prop.dds. For some reason the original file in the shared folder wouldn't work. Now everything is fine.(found a duplicate file in my BoB install too, which was a problem also.) Thank you for your help. Regards,Scott
