Junkers Ju F-13

Sorry, no! But I don't know if you are aware that Ralf Kreibich did some good early Junkers and Dornier airliners. His work is kind of spread around - best to search on avsim. I have a Junkers 46 (including a float version) and a Dornier Merkur.

FWIW: Get the TP1 file at RBDESIGN

The F13 zip file has both the float & wheels version. Within the floats folder is a fine 2d panel with FS9 gauges and a folder (DOC.PANEL) with detailed info on the 2d gauges. NOTE: I use this with one slight mod - that being smaller hot (click) spots on the fuel panel and in that way both the trim knob and fuel selector now work and are clickable. Also added two fuel tanks (left & right) and can click back and forth. Good luck OB. NOTE2: The SOUND file in the floats folder is great, much better then using the Ford Tri motor alias.....

Thanks for the tips Ed!

Boy, I can hardly keep up with everyone posting here at the forums today. All this goodness of the vintage era. Great stuff!!

Speaking of keeping up, I've another post to start :jump:

You may not need the AP or FID but hey it is all good any which way ya choose. Take care.

Y'know if you're looking for old German iron here's an alternative (basically an improved F13), over at flightsim.com. Don't worry you get wheels with it too. Despite the open cockpit for some reason I always seem to fly this one in winter [shrugs]:

FS2004 Junkers W 33b. The magnificent Junkers W 33 was built like a coal-shovel: solid, simple, slow, indestructable and to be used for any purpose. It could be repaired in every blacksmiths shop. Features pushback "system", rain-effective windscreen, smoothly working gauges in DVC, ski kit, 8 LOD-models, also ideal suitable for AI-traffic. By Hauke Keitel and Rolf-Uwe Hochmuth.

The F13 seems able to haul a large load!! I have set up the two fuel tanks with 47.5 gal each - total of 95 gal or about 350 liters of fuel.... add a cargo weight of 800 lbs and a crew of two 180 lb - the old F13 takesoff and flys great. See the pictures for night flights: Note the needles are at 175 liters on both fuel gauges on the right picture.

The FID icon on the panel is from the below gauge downloaded from flightsim.com :

Thanks for that Ed.

I started putting together a gauge folder last night in pursuit of doing panel mods. I missed that one but got it now. Are there any good places to get gauges or gauge sets? I got most (if not all) of them at flightsimdotcom

Yes Sir DRZOOK,you describe that JUNKERS well....So UGLY ya just cannot love them...They were in Canada,I understand..and looking at the open cockpits..and Winter weather,I bet the Schnapps was as important as the fuel.A Couple of other modles you may have,The K-47,and the JU-160 D-O of which I like much!!...Thanx for the HU D/L....Cheers!!..Vin

Hi Oleboy....memory tells me it may be found at Classic wings....the ""K47/A-48"...my Stuff says that also,...worth a look.... cheers Vin

Robert K. Guy button gauges - GREAT

This gauge file contains standard panel switching buttons, NAV/GPS, autopilot and flight director, hidden buttons, programable on/off buttons and programable toggle switches. The principal feature is that most buttons can have their key_id reassigned by setting the parameter field (in the panel.cfg) so that a button can operate any "thing" in MSFS that can respond to a key_id. By Robert K. Guy. (Previous version had 1511 downloads.)

The AP button on the panel of my F13 came from this program. Note: it is nice to be able to leave the room and get a snack and still have the aircraft flying on AP!!! Even a early 1920s one!!!

OleBoy - it always seems to happen to me too, smile! Take care. BTW: perhaps some person with talent will take pity on us and do a few repaints for the old F13!! It could happen. The F13 was built in the US under license using a LIBERIY engine but came up with fires due to poor connections between the engine and the aircraft (had a short life in US), also the F13 did fly in Canada and Europe in many different liveries.
