Just checking about preorders

Dear All,
With regard to preordering.....when we were asked earlier in the year about this I like many others said we would order a copy but did not send money. I went to the BHAH site and I just want to know do we reorder again at that site or will we be notified and then order. Only asking as I don't want to duplicate the order.
Best regards,
Pike.

As far as I know, that List was only to estimate the numbers of discs, that would be needed to keep everybody happy.
And what countries contained the most requests

Nothing is chiselled in stone, as to how it's gonna go down

I know that I'm in the first fifty, will it mean anything ?

Your guess, is as good as mine :ernae:

No, we're not goinf to stick with the list we made. At the time that we came up with that plan, we were planning on burning the DVD's and sendint them out ourselves. When the list became HUGE, we sorta thought that we needed to rethink our options.

At no point were we looking to play any kind of 'head-games' with our fans, we really were going to try this ourselves. Thankfully, the better choice and options were provided for us by some good sleuthing on WM and Pol's part.

Otherwise... it might have taken a LONG time to get a copy of P3. We're confident our choice of payment options, and distributer will be able to handle anything we toss at them.

We're just testing the quality of the copy and speed at which they get it to us.

Hang in there. ;)

Yes, I think we were shocked too. We really didn't think there was THAT much interest. To us, this was fun, a hobby and a 'club' of sorts. We just kept going, trying to impress each other in a fun way, how far we could go. Thankfully there is this high-level of interest, and to be honest, it gave us the 'fear' that fueled us more.

Once we saw that our game was being taken seriously, I mean in the sense that so many people wanted it, we took the extra time to go back in and correct MANY skin, model, and other minor tweaks that really brought out the best of what OFF was meant to be. We took it VERY seriously, sometimes arguing with each other what was best for us and the game. It was very good and probably the most productive project I've ever been a part of.

We really have to thank the OFF Community for giving us the drive and desire to hammer this baby out. Once you've got BHAH loaded, you're in for not only a combat lesson.... but a history lesson as well.

Trust us, the first time you hop into the cockpit and roll-out... you will be amazed at what the horizon in front of you has in store for you.

All the best,

OvS

James, may I quote you? This would fit right in (you know what I mean).

off3

I just checked the member list......20,700 members,,,if only half them want phase 3 thats gonna be a lotta dvds...

I agree there's more than a few, but that membership list is for all of SOH, some have never heard of OFF

off2

well.....what are they waiting for.....(they ones that don't know.....)

OvS comments are as he sees it and that's fine, for myself (and I think this is Winder's philosophy as we went along) we made it better because WE wanted it to be better - nothing at all to do with "pre orders" or anything else. Yes more means we can do more with it, we shall see...

As with anything I do, time moves on I look back at stuff and want to make it better (usually when I know how to do something better or when something annoys me) until I am happy. P1 and P2 were improved as we gained more skills or knowledge and made better models, textures whatever. Once we did newer things we often said hmmm the old ones need a revamp now to keep US happy, often when it meant redoing things 3 or 4 times over.

Thank for the offer Gremlin, but I'd rather leave the 'official quoting' to Pol and Winder. ;)

You can use the horizon thing if you want though, I really feel that's what OFF means in a nutshell. You really have NO idea what is in store for you during a mission. It's amazing how this game brings you right into the atmosphere of it all.

All the best,

OvS
