is it the only one? i can't seem to find any other for fsx only. if it's the only one, can some of you post your opinions? if there are others, what are they? what do you prefer?

Manfred's Connie looks better than JF Connie for the external model.
However, it's a FS9 model, which means it can't be used in P3D or example.
And in FSX, if I remember correctly, the virtual cockpit is incomplete: you can't use the engineer panel. The gauges are active, but it's not clickable.
On the other side, the virtual cockpit of te JF Connie is almost complete, and you can fully start it from cold&dark from the VC.

i have The Justflight Connie its not bad better then any Freeware connie out there

i went with the just flight one, in the end it just seemed to be the best all-arounder. slower than i thought, but a very cool model!

The Just Flight Connie is the one to have. I love it and also did one of the livery packages for them. I like the realistic flight engineer station that you can actually use but the best is the way if flies and lands. Just a great model and a great airliner from those good old days.

I forget who did it, but there's a nice freeware Connie for FS2004/FSX on Flightsim.com that even simulates engine failures! The textures are a bit more rough than the JF model, but its nice. I'll try and figure out who made it. Its also got a working 2d Engineer panel, and some nice automixture controls.
I too am curious about trying the JF Connie
