Just Flight RAF Vulcan question

I'm running FSX with Acceleration and trying to use the Vulcan from Just Flight.

My main thing is that I can't get the autopilot to work. I know that the autopilot that comes with the plane doesn't work with SP2 or Acceleration.
So I deleted the panel entry for that, copy and pasted the stock Bendix set from the Baron, adjusted the window numbering in the panel.cfg and finally turned the option to use the autopilot to '1' in the aircraft.cfg.
The problem I'm having is that it still won't turn on. The moment I try to turn it on I get the "autopilot off" sound effect. Anybody know how to get round this?

I did check the Just Flight site, but there is no patch to fix the auto pilot in FSX SP2.

You would probably be better off with the Iris Vulcan thats pure FSX. You'd get better FPS with it and all that self shadowing etc :ernae:
