just got p3-won't see cfs3 disc to play

have trend micro. put off manager & cfs3 exe from off folder in list to allow & not to block. off only seems to work when i turnoff all micro trend program.
says can't find cfc3 disc patch memory sync.

Sounds like Trend is still blocking something then. Is it Firewall AND AntiVirus?
You may need to exclude from both.

Also when you say "allow access" what do you mean? Access to the internet or do you mean you add it as exemptions to "application modification" rules (I don't have Trend so no idea what options you have.

Try also allowing off.dll access too, also you need to disable application.

Also if you had P2 before, try removing P3 specifically using Add/Remove programs first, unlpug internet, disable Trend, install. Try that
 
it's virus & firewall. i was referring to a virus & spy ware tab.then go to prevent unauthorized changes tab. there it let's you add programs to a list (trust or block) preventing unauthorized changes. i have off manager.exe,cfs3.exe & off.dll there listed to trust. i don't see any way to do that with the firewall. disable what application? earlier i had off 2 on this computer but i had to reinstall xp. as far as i know i didn't have p2 or cfs3 left on it before i received p3. with p2 i had an unmentionable thing that allowed me to not have to insert a cd. would that solve the problem of needing & not seeing the cfs3 disc?
