Kaman HH-34B

Dave Eckert did one for FS 2000. He then released the source files a while back. I have the FSDS files if someone wants to give it a shot

FSDS 3, a paint program, flight dynamics, panel, VC sounds.....

This is just the model source files as done for FS 2000. It will need a significant amount of work to bring it into FS 2004 as an actual flyable aircraft.

The pic shows what it looks like in FSDS....View attachment 22253

I was wondering, if maybe the airfile that Mike Stone did for his little Kamen might work for this helo. It has the same counter rotating rotors and the flight dynamics should be similar. Of course he would have to be contacted to get permission to use it, but knowing Mike, he probably would give his permission as long as he was given credit for it. I've always liked this helecopter, and have the 2002 version. I always wondered why no one did one for FS9 or FSX.

JO_wingnut, that might be a great idea.

I'll look it up.

Oh, i have one more idea.

How about a sound pack that fits with both the Huskie and the K-Max?

They both sound the same in terms of rotor slap and turboshaft.

I have Mike's K-max and have Mike as a facebook friend. I know Dan might have his e-mail address as well. Mike used to fly with us at Transload, and I think the K-max may still be there for download. I know they are trying to revamp their download files and cut a few aircraft.
