The N1K2-Ja Shiden Kai (Japanese for "Violet Lightning") was the best fighter used in significant numbers by the Japanese Navy during World War II. Known by the Allies as the "George," this maneuverable, heavily-armed fighter was a formidable opponent in the closing months of the war.

Another great aircraft,thank you very much.Actually it's the only Japanese aircraft I fly.

Maybe Skylane will do a Defense of Japan campaign for it.

Thank you for this nice Shiden-kai Captain. :applause: Until now I never really understood the visual differences between the -J and the -Ja and now I can finally see the smaller tail stabilizer on the -Ja :p87::dizzy:. I wish I could go back to Japan this year, I would like to see the one restored to static display in the south and the replica they made in 2020, along with some other planes. Thank you again Captain :applause:
