KBT F/A-18E VC Glass?

99% sure it's been addressed before, but is there a fix for the black VC canopy texture in FSX acceleration for the KBT F/A-18E/F/G Super Hornet series?

Yes and no.
There are two problems in fact. One can be fixed, the other cannot:
- the canopy texture (if any) can be edited with DXTBMP for inverting the Alpha Channel and making it transparent again.
- even when the above step was completed, some users still get a black opaque canopy. This cannot be solved, it seems to be video card/drivers dependent. I have recently seen another user experiencing the same issue with the FS9 Corsair, the archive here at SimOuthouse with the nice photoreal skins. It works perfect on my FSX Acceleration, but this user gets the black canopy no matter what...

Thanks Daube, that's kind of what I expected. Too bad, such a nice add-on. Would have been nice to see it in FSX.

You still might.
There's nothing that says you'll have the display problems - although it can be said that the nVidia suite seems more prone to glass issues than most.

Try it and see.
