Has anyone managed to load the KBT WP-3D to P3D V4.5?

Here are a few screenshots of what the issue is

As soon as I select this aircraft this happens:

The textures are in DDS format. Non of the three WP3D will load just show a preview screen then select one then visual model issues.

There is an FSX version that seems to work but only contains two liveries. The version for P3D contains three.

Issue resolved. Error entry in the model.cfg folder. Corrected and good to go.

It looks like in the model.wp3_crew model folder, KBT didn't include WP-3D_VC_interior file, what they did was
alias the p-3_vc_interior.MDL from the P3D Base model folder. That didn't work well (No VC cockpit display) so I
copied the p-3_vc_interior.MDL and pasted it in the model.wp3_crew folder and added the p-3_vc_interior
entry to the WP-3D "model.wp3_crew model folder"


Should look like this:

[models]
normal=WP-3D_P3D
interior=p-3_vc_interior.MDL >>>> this file was originally aliased to the P3D Base model folder.

If directions are confusing, let me know.

Seen a couple of these last year during hurricane season - they evac'd from NAS Corpus Chrisiti TX to KNQA.

Thanks for the information and explanation. I will give it a go, and will let you know if I have any problems. I do not have the P3B-AEW, but if I install any other variant, it would be the P-3A! Had it installed at one point. Need to check my files. I remember VQ-1 had one. NC

Ya mean this one? I think this is the EP-3E variant. Did you see one with the Play Boy bunny on the tail? Bet that outfit was teaming with "spooks" back then.

Spot on....

They lived in the shadows, master of smoke and mirrors. a term of endearment applying to those doing a job some of the rest of us either did not or were not qualified to do. Consider yourself one of a select few who may know all the secret truths...Spooks are everywhere.

Maybe today they are called Intel Peeps. Who knows?

The Bat rack I displayed here uses the KBT EP-3E model. FSX LOCKHEED EP-3E (FSX) required but works ok in P3D4.5
