A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category CFS 2 Scenery Add-Ons

Description: This is a package of 10 French and Belgian airfields as they appeared at the time of the German invasion in May 1940.

The French airfields comprise of Berry-au-Bac, Merville, Monchy-Lagache, Rouen – Boos, Senon and Vassincourt. Also included is scenery for the town and harbour of Dunkirk with the old World War One aerodrome of Saint-Pol-sur-Mer. In addition, seaplane takeoff point files are provided for Cherbourg, Lorient, Saint-Malo and Saint-Nazaire.

The Belgian airfields comprise of Antwerp–Deurne, Aspelare and Ghent–Saint-Denijs-Westrem. Fort Eben-Emael is also included.

Many thanks go to Stuart277 for allowing me to modify three of his freighters into destructible GSL static objects and let me include them in this package.

Also thanks to Wolfi for allowing me to modify his pier crane so that it can be used at ground level.

Thanks go to Pen32win for his U-shaped revetment which I scaled down for fighter aircraft use.

Kevin,

Many thanks for these...I will upload the others either tonight or tomorrow. Looking forward to getting Dunkirk in order!

Good evening,

Kevin asked me to correct the upload, which now includes an updated readme with a new hyperlink to a missing object package.

Hit a snag!

If this has come up before I missed it. I am now attempting to install KD's France and Belgium, (KD_France_Belgium_with_update). My standard ETO Theater (Basic) install has most of the required object packs already, but one I am now adding is James Elwood's road briges (Objlib04.zip) and I keep getting a missing item. It is - beambr02.
Now I have examined the items included in the objects_dp in this pack and the only item remotely close is beambr102. Close but not quite right. Can someone give me a little help. It's not a big deal, but I just don't know if it's something I've neglected or not.

I agree it is hard to find things in the vast array of objects available. I would like to see older object libraries consolidated for each of the various authors no longer making objects, e.g. Pen32win, XavierB, James Elwood, etc.

Hi Giuseppe,

Thanks and thanks very much for all those lovely rural houses, churches and castles. They are used extensively in both the WW1 and WW2 scenery packages.

Cheers,

Kevin
