Kentucky Owned....

What's with the 42 car field, lots of empty seats, and small cutback in NASCAR staff? Seems too many people have no jobs and can't afford intertainment.

Lots of empty seats at most tracks these days. If your work hours got cut, or had to take a cut in pay, or simply no longer have a job, you cannot afford race tickets. It is a sign of the times in which we live.

Penske looked outstanding this weekend.....Gotta be giving the other Fords headaches!

I actually watched the practice sessions as well as qualifying and they looked solid from the off.
What can I say, I had a free afternoon and Foxtel were showing the session in between Qualifying for the Dutch MotoGP at Assen!
Danica looked good in qualifying but I didn't watch the race, quite a strange oval, more bumps than a Motocross circuit, and I take a certain perverse pleasure when she does well.
:encouragement:
Re the empty seats etc., maybe there are simply too many races in the NASCAR calender?

I did notice the empty seats.
Remove Kentucky & bring back Rockingham! :mixed-smiley-010:

Regarding those bumps that were the major subject of everyone in the media and the whiney drivers. Using the proper springs and shocks would eliminate those bumps for the most part but the car would be slower. So as long as they have the option to eliminate the rough ride and choose not to they ought to just shut-up about it. :a1451:
