Komet??

Lol...somebody remind me.

Did a search, but didn't find anything.

I'm not talking about the one currently available, but I remember 'someone' was working on another one.
They had showed screenshots of the VC, which was being worked up very nicely, and accurately, to the type.

What happened to that bird?? Just curious. :faint:

Nope.

The one I'm thinking about was fairly detailed, including the VC.

Guessing that one probably went to FS2004, or FSX. It's been quite awhile since I've seen anything on it.

Oh, well.

I intended to do some Me-163 skins after I finished the Shusui's, I just haven't gotten around to it yet. I also wanna re-do the Shusui skins eventually as well. I've just got too many irons in the fire now.

Dancat made the model as a Komet. I just tweaked it to be more Japanese. There's more info in the 'read me'.

This will be about how one of them will look.

that wasn't a good model at all but Foo made it look good!!
I deleted the source file and started a new one.
think I deleted that too....
maybe someday, after I get some others finished.

It's a frustrating business sometimes, you get a model's exterior built and then things sort of bog down. I've been learning just how much work really goes on, so no more 'how long???????' complaints from me.

But if you've any suggestions why a model starts its engine briefly and then stops, 'Unknown reason. Try starting manually', I'd be most grateful! :banghead:

:amen: I have had quite a few projects where that has happened to me! Many times I'll make some good progress only to have to go back to the drawing board!

As for the engine problem you're having... not a clue.
My best guess is it could be due to a bad setting in the .air file or aircraft.cfg file.

Thanks, guys!

Ahh. Hehe. No wonder I never found it.

Many thanks, guys!

I know exactly what you mean on the modeling. It can really drag on, and some of these things can take a whole lot of time. And I did exactly what I promised myself I would NOT do...make a start on several.
Hardest part is finding the blasted time!

Actually breaking down, and flying now and then, kinda takes away some of the time, too.

Anyway, just like Scott keeps tellin' me...:173go1:

When I get the 163 up and running, I'll check the engine start thing.
Might wind up needing to push on the FM entries, since MS did not really setup CFS3 for rocket engines. We'll see...

Got it, .air file problem. I hadn't set all the pressure and temperature limits in the Engine section, so CFS3 didn't fancy the exhaust temp. getting above 0deg. Fahrenheit :isadizzy: and shut the engine down.

Doh! :faint:
