Korean Skies CFSExport.dle

Hi, a question for modellers:

Do you use the CFSExport.dle plugin for GMax, found under the Korean Skies Addons (Maintenance Section) here at SOH?

The reason I ask is that the version that comes with the stock CFS3 Gamepack for GMax is an older and smaller version of the plugin.

Hence I suspect that the Korean Skies version available here for download has been modified - I am curious to know what changes/improvements were made?

Not that I am claiming any modelling ability at all myself of course!

Haven't a clue what differences there might be, always used the gamepack version myself. It's possible it might be the original CFS3 compiler in the library, in which case it's for CFS version 3.0, not 3.1a and I wouldn't want it.

Just wondering

After reading this post I was wondering if the Korean expansion in SOH is the same as the one I tried to install.I had the Korean War expansion on the C drive in my old xp os.This time I have Windows 7 and the install of CFS3 is on a different drive.I had installed CFS3 Korea to that drive ok but when I tried to run it the exe was defaulted to the c drive with no option to change it.It said in the directions to change the path mannually which I tried everything to do with no luck on being able to open the program so I ended up deleteing it.
So I wondered if the version of CFS3 Korea here is any different.

The date of the file (CFS.dle) is September 2004, however that is probably just the date that the file was put in compressed zip package.

How could we find out if this m3d export plugin is useful?

Looked it over and there are differences but much of these are in the coded section so really can't determine what has been done. Always remember that there are entries that are non-functional as the game was released unfinished - hence its limitations and ultimate failure to sell.

Anyone ever screw around with the load factor and mach needles? Also - what is gunsight_glass?

Oh well ....:banghead:

I've used the load factor in a gyro gunsight animation (HeadShaker code, first published by Mathias iirc) but dunno about gunsight_glass, Ted. :banghead:

Maybe The Korean Skies version was to better accommodate the (slightly) more modern jets like the Sabre and the Mig?

I thought so after I posted on the LF needle

I need g force gauge so I guess the loadfactor needle will do. Tally Ho!
