KW P1Y1 Ginga repaints

WoW!

Excellent work UncleTgt. :applouse:

I have always wondered why no one took on doing a repaint for Kawauso's P1Y1 Ginga. It's a fine model.

Having looked inside the aircraft folder the mapping is a bit complex...but it is coming along rather nicely. :tears_of_joy:

Thanks!

Skins are going on it today, UT.

I will get it shot down by BPF sometime in the coming days.

Very nice work, my friend...:very_drunk::very_drunk::very_drunk:

She flies nicely, though I cannot get the bomb bay doors to open.
She has airbrakes that I can employ, but cannot figure out how to retract.

And the skin I must have done something wrong.
The textures you sent me leave the fuselage and engine cowlings flat black and the interior and crew unfinished.
I copied and pasted textures from the original folder into yours and did not let it replace any of yours.

The results are nice, though I guess maybe accurate for late war.
Take a look. She's got some shine to her fuselage and engine cowlings now!!

Lee,

I believe your pic shows the P1Y1-S nightfighter (upward firing 20mm in the top fuselage deck). You want to use the P1Y1 Frances v22a I sent you last month.:173go1:
