L-159

Does anyone know if there is a good payware L-159 available? I got to visit the Aero Vodochody L-159 facility today (I work on L-39s for a living) and was very impressed with the ALCA and would love to have one besides the freeware version.

Sure a freeware one would work, if it's good. I have a freeware one; it may be the same as the one you mentioned, falcon. I'll download it and find out.

I don't think it's the same one I had. It seems a little more done and and the VC a bit more realistic. It's not bad and fun to fly but you can still tell it's freeware. I have been aquiring alot of payware lately and I guess I'm spoiled now.
This plane does something in the way of graphics that I have seen on a few other planes but I don't know what to do about it. The textures are there incuding the shine where it should be, but the graphics are very fuzzy and almost unreadable in some places like the tail number or air force designations. What can I do about that?
I don't suppose anyone knows who has the best A-4 Skyhawk or F-4 Phantom payware these days...? I have suddenly over the last couple weeks become very interested in Korean War and Vietnam era military aircraft, particularly fighter and attack planes.

I am in the process of redoing the interior (VC) with new, sharper imagery. It is a slow process, but it should render the interior with a better visual. As for the exterior, they seem to be photoreal textures and as such there's little than can be done to correct the "fuzziness" except to completely redo the livery. There are some that contain "mip maps" and that can cause fuzziness and the simple fix for that is to run the textures through DXTbmp and resave without the mips.:salute:
