La-11/9 opinion

Have the AH La-9. Is the La-11/9 from Flight1.com worth the $20.00 price ? Thought i had everything available. It really looks nice too. How does it fly ? We really need more Russian aircraft. Who knows what the future holds. Maybe a eastern front expansion will be the next great chapter in the CFS3 world .

Sixstrings, FWIW I have that Bear Studios package. I don't have CFS3 so I can't advise you there, but the FS2002 version works well. Sadly, the CFS2 version doesn't play well, VC doesn't work at all, only 2 of the skins work in CFS2, and I've never been successful at getting the rudder trim to work properly. Elevator trim is spotty. All that aside, it's fast, maneuverable, and seems to represent the La-11 well. Is it worth it? To me, it wasn't but I mainly fly CFS2, and there was an excellent CFS2 conversion of AF Scrub's La-11 that came out here on SOH last spring that is top-notch. That is my go-to. I like the AH La-9 so I've never tried the Bear version.

Hope this helps

Steve

I have it for CFS3 and like it. It is several steps up from the AH version, and overall good quality. Not quite as good as our more recent freeware aircraft here, but I'd say the $20 is a fair price.
