Many thanks in advance :icon29:

And in that case you will have to add them for the lights that you want to show, alot of trial and error. what plane is it, I might have them. I added alot of them myself

Whoah, that's a cool shot dude :ernae:

Sorry I can't help you with the lights, though :p

Lights can also be build into the model. They don't necessarily have to appear in aircraft.cfg.
Correct, I see it most often in aircraft that have "wing flex" designed into the model and the landing lights are part of the wing.
If you had the "super secret" utility "Aircraft Container" you could search out the landing light and spot it right off, but that doesn't work in FSX unfortunately. . .it would be nice to have something like that for FSX though.

Chances are, if you don't see it listed in the cfg, then it's been modeled into the aircraft, for whatever reason, and you won't have access to it.

My understanding is that in order to have the light show up on the ground you have to attach that effect to the model. To have a luminous area around the light you can add an extra effect using a cfg entry.

but if they are incorporated into the model if I wanted to enter the 3D LIGHTS REDUX how should I do?

Sorry for my english...

You need to add new, extra, lines for the landing lights yourself and work out where the lights should be by trial and error and a little intuition.

I wrote a 'how to' over on the A2A forum which would help you a lot. Have a look at the following link and that should get you sorted out.....

Just be aware that if the designer built in 'wing flex' on the model then the 3D lights will NOT move with the wing.

Sorry for my english...
Your English is fine. ;)

in these case it is a LAGO AMX lights!
I'd be interested in knowing how you got the AMX VC to work correctly. I had major problems with several of the textures and gauges not showing at all. I finally removed the airplane because of it.

For FSX models, the .fx "luminous area around the light" may also be Attached to the wing, as well as the "ground splash." Attaching the .fx file in the model is usually not done unless the modeler has also included "wing flex" however.
