Hi everyone.
Since the boolean was explained - it all works now which is good. Only problem I'm having which I am sure someone else has already ran into is that the aircraft I'm modelling in Gmax, has landing light moulds cut into the side of the fuselage. The fuselage is curved and shaped. I've tried to cut a template of the light and then boolean the fuselage & moved the light housing into place and weld it but the polygon is only visible from the inside of the aircraft looking out. From the outside looking at the cut out section and the welded vertices it appears to not be there, you see straight through the hole.
Any way of being able to move the polygon from the outside of the cylindrical shape to the inside so it all matches up with the aircrafts fuselage?
Kind Regards,
Matt.
