Hi Guys,

Its the Siemens 'Wasserman' long-range radar.

Used in conjunction with intermediate-range Freya and short-range Würzburg Riese radars

The Wurzburg is not all mine. Raffel sent it to me along with the Freya Flamme and a few other pieces. The other radar are mine (Wassermans, FsAn 733, Peilturm, Freya ny/lz, and the funkmesstellung). These are easy to make, about 40 minutes each (without textures and LODs/damage). Houses and other stuff are just simple boxes. Now the trick for me is to create a texture with dirt paths between buildings and radar installations ..:faint:

Actually, I was at Hvide Sande on the West coast of Denmark over the summer, and spent my birthday crawling around, over and inside a German radar/support site (Kryle/Ringelnatter.) Great way to spend the day! Never seen so many sand dunes that weren't made of sand... There were two Wassermann radars there, an S and an M.

If you look carefully at the "landscapes", you'll see what I mean. Most of those dunes have flat tops...

I've honestly never seen that much concrete in one place - and I live in France!
 
Ndicki..great pics.....The luftwaffe presence lasted it seems ...GEES never saw anything like it....just try to imagime in fully operational..
