• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

I am waiting for my copy of OFF P3. Last night I tried to install CFS3 and by 93% of the installation I get error message:
"Disc error writing lcmosaic.zip". I tried clean boot, other cd rom drive. I get the same message all time. I did not have this problem in past when I installed CFS3.
Please help me.
My PC:
Intel Core Duo 2 E 8500
WinXP SP3, I have 120 Gb free on my HDrive.
Any sugestions?

I'm gonna tell my little story, it probaly won't make you happy, but here goes. I bought CFS3 New as CFS3 ( there was no OFF ) found it to be a Turd, uninstalled and put it back in the box, and stored it away.

More than a few years later OFF Phase 1 came along, but due to it's crudeness, I did about 4 full Drastic Cleanings. Reinstalled each time, the 5th time it was a no-go, made it to 78% and that was it, I cleaned the disc 3 times, never got passed 78%. Had to buy another disc just to install. Put the replacement away in a place of honor, I've using the 78%er ever since

Thank You for cleaning tip. I cleaned second CFS3 CD very well, started WinXP in SAFE MOD and installation went smoothly. NO error message this time.
