• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Good people of SOH, we are all in debt to a small but dedicated band of brothers who stepped forward and accomplished the seemingly impossible....moving all of the files that were in the Warbird's Archive into the new Warbird's library. We're talking thousands and thousands of files that had to be downloaded from the Archive, checked to make sure they were not corrupt, then uploaded to the new library.

I can not give you a list of the members who stepped forward to undertake this task, but I can say that it was a very small percentage of the SOH membership who shouldered the burden and performed this job with precision.

And we all owe a huge debt of gratitude to our super duper file librarian, Rami. That man has been working like a one legged man at a butt kicking contest to get the library in order and to keep it working smoothly. He still has the daunting task of verifying all of the archive files that were uploaded to the new library.

First, let's me say it's good to see you're still around, I remember several moths ago you had some real troubles and were stepping away. I trust things are better for you now. I'd like to think it's my prayers for you in action...but alas, I'm not that bloody pious.

Anyhoo, I hate to turn a positive thread around, but it ain't over yet. I've been so busy approving files that the CFS2 effort has been neglected. CFS3 is also lacking, but grizzly50 has his own system for transferring the files. I'm sure, if asked, that he could use the help. Middle can only do so much.

My issue is that I also have to help moderate the CFS2 forum, and could use the organizational effort to kick those guys in the rear. In short, the arse-kicked must become the arse-kicker.
