Salute All,

One of the books in my collection is an origianl service manual for the 1918 model Lewis MG from Savage Arms. It is a wealth of information containing all service specs and a complete parts list to boot. But one of the best bits is the full color fold-out of the gun itself. I scanned this very large image some time back, cleaned it up, and posted it in our RAF forum and a couple others as well. I thought you folks might find this image not only useful as an information source, but also appreciate it as the vintage work of illustrative art that it is. (I have also provided a link to the full-size image for those of you who would like it.)

Enjoy.

Outstanding! Thanks for taking the time to post this!

Thanks Lou, I like that quirky looking wind vane sight.

Baywing, that is exactly what the sight vane is for, and you see it often on the flexible-mount mg's on WW1 aircraft.

Cheers!
