Leyte Gulf install

I've installed it twice and I get a message when i go to run the game " configuration overide file is out of date ". How do I correct this ????
Go into your CFS3 BoLG folder and run the cfs3config.exe.
This is where you set up your display and screen resolution etc.

When i click on cfs3config.exe nothing happens. It does Not open so i can't set up my display and screen resolution. ?????????

Have you tried running it as an administrator and in compatibility mode?
(Windows XP SP3)
Also, where have you installed it? Some people have had problems when running it from the C:/programme folders.
Try moving the whole install to another location such as the desktop and try again. You'll have to run the multicfs3exe again.
It sounds like a pain but this is a Windows issue and not the game. 👍

Thank You So Much !!!!!!!! Yes, moved it from "c" drive to " D " drive and its up and running Thanks again Pat. You have a great and wonderful Day....

On my system I had to replace the copies of both CFS3 Battle of Leyte Gulf.exe and cfs3config.exe that were provided with the install package with working versions from one of my other installs. Otherwise, no matter the settings, they just tried to start and then closed without doing anything.

I'm having similar issues, I've moved the install onto drive D and run multiCFS , but no luck!

My experience is to use an updated cfs3.exe from a working install + the cfg exe from one of my own installs, even the basic CFS3 install, as MM suggested.

Once I got things running I was able to install AnKor's Shaders and the new water and weather options using JSGME. The only thing to remember is to rerun cfs3config.exe because the shaders call out a static version number.
