Can anybody clue me in why my Russian Li2 Aeroflot will show and fly in one rendition of FS9, Golden Wings Between the Wars, but not another, Berlin Airlift? I can insert the Aeroflot texture in the latter, using the default DC-3, but that's not the same as the Li2 with metric gauges and Cyrillic labels.

By the way, I couldn't log in using my old moniker, Waco.

Not sure of the problem but if you post a link too the Li2 download I will have a look at it for you.

Steve, thanx for your interest. Here's the link.

I had a machine go down and lost my original Berlin Airlift rendition of FS9 and was re-building it when this problem occurred. I've renamed both the FS9 config and the aircraft config and deleted the aircraft folder in Document and Settings/Microsoft/FS9. I know it's probably some stupid, simple little thing, but I haven't figured it out.

Send a PM to Ickie or one of the mods, they'll get it changed for you.
As for the Li-2, if you're using it as a stand-alone aircraft in any version of FS9 you'll have to copy the default Douglas_DC3.mdl file into the Li-2's model folder. That gives you the DC-3's airframe. The Avsimrus download only has the model.cfg file. That could be your problem.

What Tarps said. I dloaded and added the dakota model from the default and there it was showing up in my aircraft listings.

Steve.
