Liberty Belle Facebook Page...

Can anyone explain the difference between a fan "Page" and a "group"... I was trying to set up just sometime people can belong to that would give them an update on our schedule... Do you folks think this fits the bill?
 
OK you have already created the group. Groups can send out notifications to group members.

Now to send out notifications... you can send event notifications out..... go to the Group and then select...Create Group Event...

3 steps....
1. Create event name and time.
2. Add Pictures and wording..
3. Invite people... select the checkbox below labeled... "Invite Group Members"
 
Okay, thanks Crashaz... I just figured out how to make the other type of page... The one where you become a "Fan"... So I think I will try and manage both a group and a fanpage at the same time....

Maybe you could use the Group page to show the more technical detail some of us love... and the fan page for the general public fans?
 
What is the nature of your involvement with this B-17 again? Are you a pilot or crew chief?
 
Neither, Just a promoter...& I maintain the Liberty Foundation's Membership duties. Mailings, Newsletters, Renewals & the like....I'm just a kind with a big B-17 fetish....
