Lights On Payware Aircraft

I have always wondered why developers of expensive payware aircraft neglect the appearance of lighting effects.
You have the greatest modelled aircraft until you hit the "L" key.
I seem to get everything from a christmas tree effect to spacehoppers attached to my wings.
What's the matter?
It only takes me minutes to redo the cfg. But why don't they get it right in the first place?

'Cause no matter how much effort they put in, we always come up with the A2A "Shockwave" 3D lights fix on their precious handiwork!
And then post it in open forums like this one! :d

You're assuming that just because someone can make a great 3D model, that they also understand the bits and pieces of the CFG file.

Should they as a modeler/designer.....Yes.

Is this always the case......No.

For example why is the Iris/Sigma Designs Harrier payware model the wrong scale in game?? It's about 25% too large, you'd think a payware company could at least get the size of their model correct. It's the same with the lights sometimes.
