Lionheart's Learfan

I was thinking of redoing this plane.

I was threatened with a lawsuit by a moron in Texas that was from some country in South America, who claimed Lears' wife Moya had 'given' him the design years ago. After finding out from the Department of Transporation and the FAA that he was 'impersinating a CEO' and claiming property that was not his and threatening lawsuit and demanding payment via extorsion, it brought me to focus on the cool aspects of the LearFan... I thought, "I should redo that puppy and make it 10 times better....."

I agree whole heartedly!!! I still think it's one of the best looking planes ever built and your modeling and FDE skills have improved so dramtically, I would love to see what you could do with it now. Although, hopefully, you would still make an FS9 version. :) I have FSX, but it's giving me problems and I have to completely re-install it again. It won't let me add scenery...grrr.

Oh, thanks for the link Hurricane91, I looked there and did a search, but it kept coming back with Mike Stone's Learfan; which there isn't anything wrong with, I just wanted Lionheart's as I flew it alot and it has the VC.
 
Link provided by Hurricane91 worked for me. Don't know how I missed this one. I would like a re-make of Lionharts Bugatti Racer. Some of the best sound files ever, and it will flat spin.

Sundog, check again....2nd from the top, says right in the info that it is by William Ortis, That's our Bill...
 
Hi Bill

I took it-moved it to FSX-tweaked it and it is doing quite OK.Just on the air file I have to work a bit.

Was the bird really like this?

Big delay in any rudder response,constant retrimming,big delays in turbine reponses?

Just to know before I start

PLS!PLS! the elder Bellanca's for FSX (260 downwards) with a 2048 FSX resolution texture and VC

LOL, you guys misunderstood me. I meant when I looked for it before Hurricane91 posted that link, all I could find on a learfan search there was Mike Stone's. I even searched on Lionheart's name and it still didn't show up for me.

Having said that, I did download Lionheart's Learfan from the link provided by Hurricane91. :)
