SOH-CM-2025
I've been working on some repaints of the Flight Replicas Heron. I'm doing ANA right now and have two symbols that I just can't make out and I have not been able to find any reference on line. Any help would be appreciated. They are the symbols circled in red.

Thanks,
Mike

Mike,

The image behind the door appears (red in a white circle) on ANA aircraft - DC-3, YS-11, Viscount until the late 70's or so but I couldn't find a clear pic. With the introduction of the jets that loaded through the forward door(s) it moved to a similar location up front and somewhere in the 80's got modified to the same symbol in a rectangle with rounded corners. On the YS-11 it stayed near the rear service door.

As it appears only on the port side near the primary entry door I suspect it might be something like the Royal Mail logo that was displayed on British carriers or some similar insignia.

It's quite simple to paint. A red "T" with a red bar of the same width above the top of the T. Not sure of the border colour on the Heron - may be black or a grey/silver.

Thank you very much for this... the Post logo! Never dawned on me that it could have been that.
